Cell Phone Surveillance
Post Updated on 06-04-2020, by Private Investigator in Greece SOTIROPOULOS & Associates
The surveillance of a landline or a cell phone line, using the appropriate equipment, is conducted only for legitimate purposes and the use of this service for illegal purposes is prohibited (according to the law 3206/2003 set out in the Government Gazette 298/A/23.12.2003).
The surveillance may be necessary when, for example, there is a suspicion that a teenager is involved in illegal acts or use of substances (and it is performed on written parental consent). In these cases, such an intervention is often life-saving, as well as in cases involving patients who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
The private investigation offices are obliged to comply with the law 3206/2003 set out in the Government Gazette 298/A/23.12.2003 and concerns private investigators.
